STEP 2: USER FLOWS
STEP 3: INSIGHTS
Conducted a user test based on the fist draft of the desktop product launch calendar (shown above)
Main Objectives: Find out if participants understand the features and functionality of the adidas launch calendar. Moreover, up against nike, how does the adidas calendar compare?
5 Key Findings:
- 1. Shoe Release Calendar: Participants easily recognized the page as a "shoe release calendar."
- 2. Released vs. Upcoming Products: The different products and release dates on the launch calendar were generally clear, but participants were mixed on whether they were seeing "released" or "upcoming" shoes.
- 3. adidas vs. Nike 1: Participants preferred the aesthetics of the adidas launch calendar’s “modern” and “compact” design noting colors, photos, layout, and hover animations as appealing compared to Nike's launch calendar.
- 4. adidas vs. Nike 2: However, the inclusion of color options and price on Nike’s calendar was appreciated and missed on adidas.
- 5. Find-ability: Most participants expected to easily access the release calendar from the homepage through the main navigation.
